Founder of The Pass, by Hongo Data Analytics.
Hey, I’m Dylan Bryant. I’m currently a third-year student at Western Washington University, studying for my BA in Business Analytics. The idea for Hongo Analytics started when my father, a restaurant owner himself, showed me the analytics software he uses to run his restaurant. He mentioned it was built by one person, years ago, working alone. That stuck with me, and it’s what pushed me to build something of my own, which led to The Pass.
When my dad showed me the program he uses, my first thought was: this is way more complicated than it needs to be. Most restaurant analytics tools are outdated, cluttered, and hard to actually use. That’s what I set out to fix. The Pass is built so you can log in and understand exactly what’s happening with your numbers within minutes, not hours. It still offers deeper, technical detail if you want to dig in, but the baseline goal is simple: log in, understand your business, log out.
Day to day, my goal is that you shouldn’t need to contact me at all, the dashboard should tell you what you need to know, and it’s on you to act on it. That said, if you want to meet weekly to walk through the numbers together, I’m glad to. And if you ever have a question, an issue, or something looks off, I’m available any time, not on a support-ticket queue.
The Pass isn’t a cure-all. I can’t promise it’ll skyrocket your sales, and I won’t pretend otherwise. What I can promise is a clearer picture of how your business actually runs, exactly where the money’s coming in, and exactly where it’s going. What you do with that is up to you.
If that sounds like something your restaurant needs, let’s talk.
